World Bicycle Relief mobilizes people through the power of bicycles. By providing rugged, purpose-built Buffalo Bicycles to students, healthcare workers, and entrepreneurs in rural developing regions, they turn hours of walking into minutes of travel.

For many riders, a single bicycle unlocks access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity — and the chance to build a better future.

The format

How It Worked

01

Draft your team

Before the Tour de France began, each player drafted a stable of six real riders across four tiers — from the superstars to the longshots — with the underdog tiers worth bonus point multipliers, so a bold pick could pay off big.

02

Score every stage

Across all 21 stages, your riders earned points three ways: for their stage finishes, for how high they sat in the overall race standings each day, and for bonus predictions like who'd win a marquee stage or hold the jerseys.

03

Climb the standings — for a cause

After every stage the live leaderboard updated alongside a recap from 'Munro,' our resident commentator, and the highest points total after three weeks took the title. Every entry supported World Bicycle Relief, putting bikes in the hands of people whose lives change the moment they get one.
